Walker’s Gym has been a commercialized gym since 1991. The gym began in the basement of Curtis Walker’s home . The need for additional space and desire to open a “commercial gym” by Barry, Curtis’s son led the way to moving the gym to Hopewell, A further need for expansion was followed with a second move into the present location.
Barry, and Jeany, are both competitive power lifters. Barry is a state and national power lifting champion and state record holder. He is, also , a competitive bodybuilder and has earned his black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Jeany is a state and national powerlifting champion. She has, also, won several bodybuilding competitions, and has earned her black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Barry and Jeany both have regular jobs, in addition to working at the gym, training, and competing.

Q: Do you provide personal training?
  • Yes, prices vary depending on services and length of training sessions.
Q: Do you have a family plan?
  • $35 for first person and $15 for additional family member.  Family members are:  husband and wife, or parent and TEENAGER (16-19 years old) living in the home with the parent

  • No
Q: Do trainers have competition experience?
  • Trainers have competed in bodybuilding and powerlifting.  They have competed in local, state, and national levels.
